A Ride Worthy of the Brave and the Bold

Time for another Batmobile feature.  This time we showcase the Hot Wheels Batmobile from the great series Batman the Brave and the Bold.  I was a big fan of this series and was very disappointed when it ended its run on the cartoon Network.  This diecast version is quite excellent and a very welcome addition to my growing  batmobile collection.  Enjoy!

  1. hey thats one cool Batmobile RP! Its wierd, I've seen it on TV for the first time today, The Brave and the Bold. I'll be tuning in every saturday. I like the way the cartoon makers have taken the classic shape and changed it enoiugh to be still recognisable as the classic, unlike the Tumbler in the dark Knight movies, which I really dislike. The B&TB batmobile reminds me of the earlier LEGENDS Batmobile. Which is your favourite?

  2. I've felt that the 1966 Adam West Batmobile was the most visually stunning. That was my introduction to the character and it began my lifelong love of the Batmobile. I share your opinion of the Tumbler. It's a great vehicle design, but it never really felt like a Batmobile. By the way, I have a new Hot Wheels 66 Batmobile and Batcycle the will be making their debut on the blog soon.

  4. Thank you for the kind words Ed. I appreciate it. Your warning about the addictive nature of Batmobile collecting has, alas; come too late. I'm on a huge Batmobile kick right now that shows no signs of waning.
